WHAT IT IS:
It’s book about a girl named Maven and Braun, her robot protector who by fate or design is kidnapped. Her and her friends come together to break him out but uncover a darker secret that could change the face of humankind.
AND IT’S ALSO:
Heart and soul baby. For the last several years that’s what I’ve been putting into this book. The story has been with me for a long time and now I’m releasing it into the electric wild. Thousands of hours for thousands of images make up this 168 page epic that will be released 3 pages weekly for a year. Crazy, huh? And it’s free! For now…
Crazier still is I’m planning a 200 page Kickstarter for a FULL COLOR print edition. Hoping to launch that badboy in January. So, if you like robots and girls, adventure and mystery…then you just might like this.
So please, follow along, spread the word and stayed tuned. I’ve got good stuff cookin’ in the kitchen.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Well, at least for the wife and I. What better way to spread the love than to offer all my closest friends (you know who you are) a chance to buy some beautifully printed art.
In a moment of love and panic I went ahead and had a limited run made. At 17.8″ x 22.2″, the Hahnemühle Photo Rag Satin gives the impression of a fine grade watercolor paper. And the archival inks are deep, rich and vibrant. I’m extremely happy how these turned out. And each one will be signed and shipped flat. So feel free to place your orders here.
Or save yourself the shipping charges and pick yours up at the JET CITY COMIC SHOW November 8th in Tacoma. Hope to see you there.
In other words: A Comics Festival in France.
A friend invited me along a few months back. I’d always wanted to go, so I threw myself into a regular schedule of learning French, if only to read the French comics I already have! Still, the retention of the language can be difficult as I don’t get to practice with someone everyday or to use it in context. Regardless, I think I’ve got enough to find a bathroom, not starve and to order a drink.
Still working on the colors for my next graphic novel. I’m almost done with the 2nd chapter. Three more to go. In the meantime here’s an early production piece I did to test out colors on.
Hopefully, I’ll have something of interest to report on my return.
