THE PROCESS: Ink Sketch #001

This is the first of the Ink Sketches I’m hoping to do. Kind of a by-the-seat-of-my-pants approach to sketching. It’s great for loosening up and letting go. Something I can always stand to do more of.

THE PROCESS: Sketchbook Friday #052

One of the more robust of my sketchbooks. A real crowd-pleaser! Can you hear the cheers…the guffaws. Yeah, me neither. Still, it’s one of my favorites.

THE PROCESS: Watercolor-DEADPOOL (Annotated)

This is was one of my favorite watercolor pieces. Before this moment I’d never read a DEADPOOL comic. Which means it came together without me sweating bullets. It’s still available in my store.

THE PROCESS: Commission- PLUTOR

Part of the Kickstarter that I did for BRAUN included this commission of a persons own character. I love doing these as there’s no precedent that I have to live up to and can focus on the strength of the characters design to guide me.

THE PROCESS: Sketchbook Friday #040

A lot of promise here as I’ve got several pages of full page comics work. Hawaiian Dick and the like. In fact the idea around that story was I awoke to the thought of Abe Vigoda as a hitman…B.Clay Moore wrote up a story about it.

THE PROCESS: Watercolor- STARFIRE

Sexiest Teen Titans, hands down. My pre-teen crush in comics is your gain. Glad I outgrew those notions. Anyway, here’s a quick watercolor of my favorite orange lady.

THE PROCESS: Inkstyle #07 CHARLES BURNS

So as you might have it, I did up another Ink Style creating an image of filmmaker John Waters ala CHARLES BURNS. It’s not an exact rip on his style but it’s inspired by his great feather and surgical rendering.

THE PROCESS: Sketchbook Friday #30

Dropping one of the slicker sketchbooks which is made up of a bunch of freelance assignments. This one is a fun one!

THE PROCESS: Watercolor- Batman vs. Joker

I really wanted to challenge myself with having two characters and a more involved setting. It worked…it was hard and complicated. This is the first in a long line of ORIGINAL ART that I’ll be selling in my store. So stay tuned for more…

THE PROCESS: Commission-THE SPIRIT

Sometimes I get to do a commission that is most enjoyable. This was definitely one of them.
