There’s some tension between the tree and the waterline. With landscape painting it’s your responsibility to make “adjustments” so that the end result shows what the hell you’re doing. Sure, it’s a little bit of editing and curating. But in the end it’ll make for a nice piece and your artist friends won’t give you hell for it.

Otherwise I’m mostly happy with how this turned out. Mostly.
