Who knew fighting a monster could have real world benefits?
Every year Emerald City Comicon publishes a book filled with amazing art with the simple theme of Monsters and Dames. The proceeds of which will benefit Seattle’s Children’s Hospital. I was lucky enough to get in the book for 2108…as well as a table at the show. So buy a book, track me down and ask me why in the world would I ever do such a thing?
Because it’s for a good cause.
Throwing back to a Thursday long ago! I did these film poster comps for a local film director who had a pretty crazy crime horror project. It was a tight script with memorable moments and great characters. If you don’t believe me, check out these boards I did for the opening sequence.
I had a lot of fun throwing these together and even did a read-thru of the script with a bunch of actors…though I had to beg off since the last ferry from Bremerton would have stranded me.
Maybe someday it’ll rise from the dead as these things sometimes do.
